Red Hat Partner Sales Account Manager - Zurich, Switzerland in Zurich, Switzerland

About the job

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Partner Account Manager to join us in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you will identify, onboard and manage Service and Integration Partners who are helping customers on their journey into the cloud. You should have excellent leadership & communication skills, with ability to engage with technical as well as commercial set of stakeholders at local System Integrators and Service Partners and accelerate the adoption of the Red Hat portfolio in the cloud.

What you will do

  • Identify, onboard and manage Service and Integration Partners by introducing the Red Hat Portfolio and the Red Hat Open Hybrid Approach

  • Solid understanding of industry trends in the cloud context to establish credibility at the business level and articulate the benefits of working with Red Hat as a strategic cloud partner

  • Subject matter expert creating an overview of all cloud aspects/facets of our business across all of our cloud offerings

  • Work closely with the sales account teams to identify key opportunities and assist in creating and carrying out strategic account plans

  • Working together internally with different teams on our services story-line, campaigns and deals

  • Support regarding private offers for local system Integrators in alignment with the Cloud business transformation lead.

  • Internal and external evangelist to educate our field sales teams and to create demand at the Service and Integration Partners

  • Establish success stories that can be referenced around strategic cloud project wins and present our cloud story at partners and events

  • Become a trusted advisor with senior IT and C-level business executives for partners to create long-term partnerships. Drive RH Openshift adoption from existing on premise business to Hyperscaler with the identified Service and Integration Partners as well as acquiring net new business.

  • Will be working in a matrixed structure and own the overall outcome of the sales of our cloud offerings, collaborating closely with the account teams, e.g. account management, solutions architects, and partner sales executives as well as with the strategic partners in our ecosystem

What you will bring

  • Previous experience working with a consulting organization in a technical role with sales oriented approach

  • Excellent leadership & communication skills, with ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization

  • Strong understanding of customers within assigned territory, including customers' business, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Red Hat differentiators/ value proposition

  • Strong understanding of the partner ecosystem and an existing network in the System Integrator Landscape

  • Ability to articulate the value of Red Hat solutions, Red Hat’s differentiation, and the Red Hat opportunity to partner sales counterparts

  • Ability to cultivate long-term relationships and develop advocates across partner organizations

  • Strategic orientation and value engineering skills to position and sell solutions to client needs with partners

  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory (French a plus)
